Collective Technologies at Well Care HMOMy next client for Collective Technologies was representing System 5 Technologies on-site at Well Care HMO in Tampa, Florida. I and a co-worker from CT were there to perform an assessment as to how compliant they were with regards to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). We spent just over a week there interviewing key personnel and investigating existing documentation, producing a 77-page report (and a 47-page supplement) indicating where they were and were not compliant with regards to IT and how they could get compliant where they still needed to.
