Internet web site styles

This appendix is an explanation of the styles used on the CT Internet web site. Information is available in the following areas:

Page layout
Color palette

These are explained in the following sections.

Site organization

The Internet web site is organized into the following sections:

Who We Are--This section discusses the executive management of Collective Technologies, provides information on our advisory board and Customer Advisory Panel (CAP), and lists the locations of our offices.
What We Do--This section describes our service offerings (Collective Impact, Collective Infrastructure, and Collective Resources), our Practices, and the advantages of CT.
Clients--This section provides information on some of our customers or clients, including testimonials.
Partners--This section lists our partnerships and includes testimonials from partners on how partnering with CT has helped them. There is also a form to allow someone to request to become a CT partner.
Real World Solutions--This section discusses Collective Labs and provides technical white papers and other published works by CT members. It also provides details on the Collective Intellect, our stance on certifications, and many useful systems administration links.
Careers--This section discusses the CT hiring model and provides details about the available positions, the benefits package, the career paths, and testimonials from members and candidates. There is also a form to allow people to apply for the jobs and enter our hiring process.
News and Events--This section provides details on CT's appearance in the news, including press releases, awards, events which we run or substantially participate in, and newsletters.

In addition, there are some miscellaneous pages that do not fit into these sections:

Legal Notice--This page provides information on copyrights, trademarks, registered trademarks, service marks, and warranties.
Site Map--This page provides a text-based site map of the entire web site, using bullet lists to show page hierarchies.

The vast majority of the site is for Marketing, though Recruiting is most concerned with the Careers section and Strategic Development is most concerned with the Partners section.

Page layout

Every page on the Collective Technologies Internet web site except the front page uses frames.

In English, the frame rules are:

Top--The site-wide navigation links with the collective "comets" logo on the far right. The frame is 775 pixels wide by 71 pixels high. The text is in white; the background is blue (though not the PMS 288 CVC blue).
Main--The main data or content frame. The frame is 775 pixels wide and as high as necessary to hold all the content. The text is black (with yellow all-caps Heading 1 text). The background is white.

The content appears in the left portion of the frame. The right portion contains a graphic image 281 pixels wide by 172 pixels high. The two portions are separated by a 2-pixel thin yellow line.
Footer--The site-wide footer links. The frame is 775 pixels wide by 41 pixels high. The text is in gray on a yellow background.

Color palette

The color palette used is the standard yellow and blue, with some exceptions. The details are in Table 10.
