Apple Computer, Inc.

Apple Computer has also lost its way - it still seems to believe that it can justify vastly higher prices for its equipment (one might even say monopoly prices) based on technological advantages that are no longer as significant as they were a decade ago. Unless they begin to compete meaningfully on price/performance, they're doomed. Pride goeth before a fall.

Killing the Newton was also a dumb thing to do.

On the other hand, the PowerPC is cool. A Very Fast, nearly RISC design that suffers none of the problems of backward compatability that Intel has to put up with in the 80x86 series.
