Bruschetta
Ingredients
  - Italian bread
  
 - Olive oil
  
 - 1 large or 2 small tomatoes
  
 - 5-6 cloves of garlic
  
 - Fresh basil leaves
 
Preparation
  - Seed and dice the tomatoes.
  
 - (Optional)  Marinate the tomatoes in balsamic vinegar.
  
 - Slice the garlic cloves.
  
 - Chiffonade and then chop the basil.  Strips of basil are okay,
    but not too long.
  
 - Slice the Italian bread on a bias, but not too thick.
  
 - Preheat your oven broiler.
 
Assembly & cooking
  - Place the sliced bread on a broiling pan.
  
 - Drizzle with olive oil.
  
 - Drain the tomatoes and place atop the bread.
  
 - Sprinkle garlic over the tomatoes.
  
 - Broil until heated through; do not burn the bread.
    About 2-4 minutes.
  
 - Sprinkle basil on top.
  
 - Add a very little freshly-ground black pepper.
