I was later than I'd've liked thanks to this running into my
mid-semester maintenance weekend at work. We had six people
over the course of the 100 minutes or so it lasted. I had
fun catching up, and it seemed like others did too. Discussion
topics (as I wrote them down, but not necessarily in
      chronological order) included:

        - Attendance at these Zoom meetings

        - Pets (and toys, aging, and allergies)

        - Reesearch works

        - Politics and memory

        - Diplomacy and the intractability of the Middle East

        - Extreme politics, safe spaces, and mental health

        - Artwork, and mixing gloss and matte for cool lighting
          effects

        - Exes, murder, and odd connections

        - Aging, medications, pain control, and side effects

        - Exercise and how much (or little) we love it

        - Slings and their uses other than for sex

        - Sex, sexuality, relationships, and the lack thereof,
          especially as we age

        - San Francisco's doom loop (death spiral)

        - Buying an auto body shop to cast with fire safely and
          legally (doing art, not arson)

        - Volunteer work

        - Writing letters on behalf of pets

        - Folk songs and ballads, and familiarity (or lack
thereof), plus artists, covers, and exposure

        - Sleeping (and how medications can affect that)

        - Increasing participation and Zoom fatigue

        - AI becoming conscious

        - The awfulness of smart elevators
