The Public & Private Conferences

The following information about the public and private gay, lesbian, and bisexual conferences is available:

	History--A brief history of how the conferences came to be.
	Index--The category index of the last volume of the public conference (Volume 6, or ConferU Volume 1).
	Timeframe--The timeframes of the various volumes or editions of the conferences.
	Farewell Message--The message sent when the conferences were closed down for the last time.

Conferencing with ConferU ended at the University of Michigan at the end of August, 1999, when the machine confer.itd.umich.edu was turned off for the last time. An era ends.
